Initial Notification: mvManager Production Update

MyVenue will conduct a scheduled mvManager release on Tuesday, November 3 from 06:30 to 08:00 UTC.

The release process is not expected to exceed 90 minutes.

During this time there will be a 15 minute delay to sales processing.

We do not anticipate any other disruption to mvManager, and venues will be able to trade unimpeded.

Security Advisory: PHP 5 Vulnerability
Resolved - No impact to MyVenue or Tapin2 hosted services or websites.

Details:

• MyVenue & Tapin2 websites are protected by Cloudflare, which deployed protections against this vulnerability. Our understanding is that this occurred before the PHP vulnerability was made public.


• All other MyVenue & Tapin2 hosted services do not use PHP. This includes the Suites Portals, databases and surrounding infrastructure.

• A wider review of MyVenue & Tapin2 repositories found no direct or indirect use of PHP in the platform or back-office systems.

Update - During the scheduled update, there will be a period of down time for mvManager for up to 1 hour. During this time the following products will be briefly unavailable:

mvManager (back office, reports)
mvSuites (suites POS, online suite catering portal)

All other MyVenue products will be unaffected, meaning sales can still be accepted at the POS, self-service kiosk, or via mobile ordering during the maintenance window.
